There’s only one smoking room in the international departures area and the pro tip is to sit by the door as the air is sucked into the room so if you’re sitting by the window you’ll choke.

The duty-free area is pretty small but it does sell all manner of reindeer products – from salami to hides.  Go check out the hides, you’d be amazed at how soft they are.

You might find that you can buy the basics cheaper in the kiosk that’s in the other part of the terminal.  That surprised me but I suppose I shouldn’t have been.  Airport duty-free stopped being cheap years ago.

Do check out the Finnish chocolates through – the ones with the bits of real fruit are yummy! (and this comes from someone who doesn’t eat chocolate)
