Adelaide’s Hidden Gems 2 – Adelaide Festival of Arts

I’ve been to a fair few different Arts Festivals down the years and again, I’ve come across nothing to beat Adelaide’s.  Unlike Edinburgh, the performers aren’t desperate to be noticed and offered tv deals and there’s not the whole air of pretentious “look at me!” that seems to hang over most festivals. It’s laid back, friendly, easy to get to the venues, always incredibly interesting and the Fringe is even better!

If you are going to go to Adelaide, try to make it for the full festival period or at the very least WOMAD, you won’t regret it.
